Leadership

Patrick Kelly

Patrick Kelly, President

Patrick is responsible for strategic planning and business development at Kalipr.

For the 10 years prior to Kalipr, Patrick served as a partner at a Chicago-based digital agency. There, Patrick worked with start-ups to Fortune 100 companies on digital marketing initiatives ranging from website design and development, mobile apps, search marketing, online advertising and social media.

Before the digital agency, Patrick held progressively senior leadership positions at Chicago-based healthcare advertising agencies and marketing firms. With his broad marketing background and specific experience developing interactive marketing strategies for health, Patrick helps client’s succeed in a changing environment. Patrick has specific experience in the following areas: cardiology, oncology, nephrology, home care, information technology, anesthesiology, ambulatory surgery, and orthopedics.

Ed Schweitzer

Ed Schweitzer, Chief Creative Officer

Ed is a cross-media creative director, branding specialist and design evangelist. With over 25 years in the design communications industry, Ed has served in leadership
roles for numerous internationally recognized agencies.

Ed has developed enterprise programs, tools, and training for global companies – fostering effective communication, advanced collaboration, and stronger commitment. He has created compliance/ethics-based training programs and communications for GlaxoSmithKline, Altria, and American Express. Ed has also developed brands, campaigns and business communications for AT&T, Interactive Data/United Kingdom, Novo Nordisk, Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson, Royal Alliance, SunAmerica, AIG, FLOR, Land of Nod, The Museum of Science and Industry, Shedd Aquarium, and Charlie Trotter’s Foods, as well as designed ground-breaking text books for Houghton-Mifflin and McDougal-Littel.

Ed’s work has been recognized by industry award shows from the American Institute of Design and Webby’s, as well as trade publications including I.D., Print, How and Communication Arts.

Kellee Johnson

Kellee Johnson, Strategic Communications

Kellee is Kalipr’s head of Strategic Communications.

Kellee builds and refines domestic brands of global companies and provides lead generation and growth strategies for start-up companies. She and her team build better relationships with stakeholders through storytelling that leverages qualified third parties in multiple integrated communication channels.

Kellee has served as director of corporate marketing for Abbott Laboratories, where she managed 25 global teams after she spent five years managing corporate communications for Tropicana, a multi-billion dollar division of PepsiCo.

Focused on all aspects of marketing consumer products, healthcare and high-tech services, Kellee has helped companies such as Hyatt, Kaiser Permanente, Stericycle, Safeway, TARGET, Cisco and Ultimate Software think differently about their relationships.

Kellee positions companies as thought leaders through media relations including US News & World Report, the Associated Press, Wall Street Journal, CNN HeadlineNews, The Boston Globe, Houston Chronicle, Denver Business Journal, Chicago Tribune, Crain’s Chicago and more. She has been a mentor to several young women for 15 years. She facilitates and moderates executive forums, expert panels, seminars for entrepreneurs and industry roundtable discussions.
